PREP WEEK

I'm starting slow with my work out this week because CrossFit 6 weeks Get Right for the Summer Challenge is starting on the 20th. Wish me luck...

April 13: Didn't work out because it was raining. Forgot what I ate really but I had bubble tea with my friend, Janie. So, my day wasn't a total waste :)

April 14: I jogged and meditated at Sewark Park. Felt kind of bad cause I ate fish sinigang and chicken adobo with rice. Bleh. [day 1 of quitting]

April 15: Rice with chicken Adobo. Sushi @ Blue C Sushi (Thank you, Albert!). W.O.D: 50 jumping jacks, 10 lbs. weight lifting - 15 sets, 30 squats, 15 burpees (which I'm not sure my form is right), weights again, 50 jumping jacks, 15 sit ups, 15 push ups, 15 sit ups, 15 push ups... (did the whole set twice). [day 2 of quitting]

April 16: 3 miles jog/walk @ Seward park. 100 squats (separated by before and after the jog/walk). At home: 3 sets of --> 20 squats/20 sit ups/20 push ups/10 lbs. weight lifting/15 "gretchen". Food: turkey ham & cheese omelette for brunch. Veggie fried brown rice with chicken for dinner. [day 3 of quitting]

April 17: Food: Turkey ham & cheese omelette for brunch. Chicken wings for dinner. Didn't really work out.... but walked the 3 miles trail @ Seward Park. [day 4 of quitting. Had 1 after a corona]

April 18: Late for the challenge meeting due to traffic. SMH. Why would they have construction at downtown on a saturday? Oh well. Kind of jogged around the playfield. Then went to my Mt. Baker and jog some more. Dinner has yet to come. weeee. EDITED: Dinner was brown rice with veggies with some veggie ulam my mom made. She said it was suppose to be for a lumpia but she said she forgot to buy the wrap. HAHA. I also had 2 coronas, couple of chicken wings and 2 slice of original cheesecake. Happy birthday, Hang! [day 5 of quitting; had 1]

April 19: Coffee before church. Brown rice with veggies again (leftover). Then, my weekly cheat: KFC's large popcorn chicken and a A&W shake. Afterwards, spaghetti and McDonald's Iced Tea. [day 6 of quitting].

Weeks reflection
I'm feeling good about this. My motivation for this is at it's should be. 2 out of 5 days is not bad. Also, I need still need to go for grocery shopping. And... it starts!
